Mission Statement:
Seeks to improve the learning opportunities for Baltimore City children through: reading readiness in pre-k and kindergarten, programs that challenge motivated students in Baltimore’s public schools, school-based after-school programs, and summer learning. The Trustees favor programs that have intense and sustained contact with students with a consistent message of high expectations. Supports organizations that work to protect and improve the natural environment of the Baltimore region but does not fund local land trusts. Supports community organizations in Baltimore City that have a record of attracting financial investments to their neighborhood revitalization efforts.
